LINUX: Files, Directories, Help oh my!

So today, I spent my entire life working with Linux. Okay it most definitely was like 4.5hours but still….wtf. The torture. The learning curve sis – the learning curve.

I say all of that to say…I like it?

Being self-taught has been a whirlwind to say the least but it also makes all of my “aha” moments so much sweeter because I did it all on my own!

three things I enjoyed most today:

1. Making directories / files + move / delete / rename them

2. Picking up on commands faster than I believed I would.

3. Adding ‘help’ to everything and reading it lol

I’m most proud of my deleting of directories as well as the new ones I created and moving the fake files I made into them.

directories: login1 and login2

files: passwords1.txt and users1.txt

It’s important to note that I don’t have access to ALL of Linux right now because my computer is broken soooo I have to make do with a web app called Webimnal which I praise the good Lord for.

Tomorrow I will continue my pain and pleasure with Linux. Let’s see what other madness I can get into…

Thanks for taking a byte,
